“We very often find empty nip bottles in our restaurant. We can sometimes tell when people aren’t buying drinks but making their own by purchasing sodas only and then observing their behavior later.”

“When walking with my 6 month old daughter in her stroller, I was disgusted and appalled at the level of trash (nips) littered on the ground. At one point I was able to count over 40 nips in less than a half mile distance. This should be a healthy and safe community for families. We should not tolerate the amount of waste being thrown onto the street, not to mention the risk that increases with drunk drivers.”

“The pictures and what (…) the group is describing is pretty evident and it’s reflective of what we see in the Emergency Room at the Hospital (Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital – Plymouth) with the alcohol epidemic far outweighing and shadowing the opioid epidemic that we struggle with on a regular basis here in town and across our nation. I’d say about 80% of the substance abuse we see in the hospital, the medical conditions are related to alcohol so unfortunately this is no big surprise.”

“I am a person that cares deeply about the environment, ever since I was a child. And I’ve grown up in a world that’s seen vast climate damage that’s only going to get rapidly worse as time goes on. Any change we can make to start reversing this needs to be done.”
